We are thrilled to announce that Older has been selected for the Snowdance Independent Film Festival in Germany. This represents Older's official international premiere!

Guy has been hard at work putting together an updated theatrical trailer for Older.  While we can't divulge the release date of that trailer just yet, keep an eye out here or check out our Facebook page for more updates on when that's coming! 


Post-Production Underway
January 2014


Principal photography wrapped on 'Older' in December and after a well-deserved holiday break, the team is back at it!  Filming the remaining pick-ups on evenings and weekends, our actors and crew are chipping away at what's left to do.


With the last few Indiegogo dollars, the production team has been able to purchase the hardware needed to begin editing the film.


And we're now on the hunt for some Photoshop pros to help us develop a series of theatrical posters for the film.  If that sounds like something you'd be interested in, get in touch at

Casting Announcement
October 2013

Older is excited to announce the casting of our two leading ladies: Liesha Ward Knox as Jenny and Astra Mclaren as Stephanie! Liesha Ward Knox will be playing Jenny - you might recognise her beautiful smile from our teaser trailer!  Liesha is a graduate of Unitec's School of Performing and Screen Arts.  Her screen credits comprise of a wide range of local and international television, short films and TVCs including Shortland Street and Legend of the Seeker. The lovely Astra Mclaren is playing Stephanie, a new addition to our team.  She recently starred as Ashleigh, one of the leads in South Pacific Pictures' long-running television series Go Girls and has been rapidly taking over NZ with roles in The Almighty Johnsons, The Blue Rose and starring in the upcoming feature film Penny Black.

Over the course of 25 days, Older the Movie was able to raise a grand total of $5,200 USD!  This came from over 100 contributors from all over the world.  WIth this money we will be able to purchase catering for the cast and crew for the duration of the shoot as well as prop rental, location hire!  THANK YOU to all of you that have decided to take this journey with us! We're so glad to have you on board!
